There is a problem with this prod.
It is "visions", not "vision" ;]

he can use add or change link to add youtube to the release, otherwise, comments will be flooded with people making their own capture.

I second this request! He keeps spamming the comments with his video links. And the qualitiy of his captures is pretty bad!

There is custom request for Come At Me, Bro!: I'd like to add second prod type - Crack Intro.

Could this feature be in standard edit set by any chance? ;)

Thank you!

done

jammer: it's possible of course but if you browse back a few pages on this thread you'll notice other types of change requests are more common, so it could be that automating those would be given higher priority ;)

There is a problem with this prod: change platform to ZX enhanced, because intro uses General Sound.

Ok.

according to demozoo this prod was created by this person rather than this demogroup.

Wiki claims:
Quote:
Buzz was created by Oskari Tammelin who named the software after his demogroup, Jeskola.

DZ claims:
Quote:
At the end of 1995, most members of Jeskola! - Lemming, Jate, Ivy, Kowtow, Chanel5, Betacarotine, Panadol and Deetsay - left the group for Orange, resulting in the disbandment of Jeskola.

Since the first public version appeared in 1997, O.T.'s Jeskola was a different demogroup then(?) Although there's no evidence of a different Jeskola existing.

Anyway, I changed it accordingly.

(so yes, it's the same Jeskola, but shit still doesn't add up. He's neither of those claimed here, or info is wrong and/or people can't remember correctly)

tomaes: What doesn't add up? Putting together the available sources (which, admittedly, are all kinda lacking in primary evidence), it sounds like Oskari Tammelin = Phantom of Jeskola! Productions, and he adopted the name Jeskola for himself after the group split up. Is there any information to contradict that?

Depends. Is it him? Did he leave Sonic PC again and went back to Jeskola?
added on the 2016-12-09 12:23:45 by tomaes tomaes
(Well, I guess he did not, he just used the name. Somewhat confusing and as said the sources are all over the place... Here's a good source for the phantom conncetion); Gotta merge those Jeskola/Phantom accounts on DZ sometime then.

Since when can't people be in multiple groups at the same time? =)

Since he still works on Buzz and thus is kind of active, maybe someone should just ask him to clear things up.
He's on twitter, but seemigly stopped using it. The latest build update is from January 2016. I guess that counts as "active" these days. ;)

Also, don't use the "fact" that there is a separate demoscener profile called "Jeskola" on Demozoo as a proof for anything. I think I have added it because it was not clear if he really belonged to the same-named group, and and the way jeskola.net is presented made me assume that they are indeed two different entities.
(that comment was based on Defiance's original report, obviously)
This is not a Pouet error, but I'll list it anyway.
The zip archive on Scene.org linked to on this prod page is obviously wrong
http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=52900

The zip file on scene.org is something that the info file was "coded at Assembly `95 with Turbo Pascal."
How come it's in Asm 1994 folder. :) And it's not my intro at all.

http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=60867 has two “mirrors”, but the two files are not equal; the first difference is at byte 2 655 166 609 (!). I have no idea which one of the two is the corrupted one.

(There's also a third mirror, which 404s.)

OK, the one on ftp.untergrund.net matches the file on scene.org, at least, so probably the antarctica.no mirror is the wrong one.

There is a problem with this prod: is a demotool, I think?
done. if y

yzi, sesse: please report such issues in a more appropriate place than this thread :)
