That was awesome. Amiga clearly dominated this year.
It was so great to see you all again.

And as everyone keeps asking for that lyrics, here they are.

I'm tired and dirty and I can't wait to get home and I wish I had talked to more people, and I had the absolute time of my life.

Thank you so much, once again. Next Easter can't come soon enough.

That was a blast. Kinda lost for words by the awesomeness of it all. The Amiga compo, Limp Ninja winning 3rd price with their Evoke invitro and the Outline invitro doing so well too. Good times.

It was so awesome! Nice compos, nice Weather, fantastic chats and good drinking. And 256b! But somehow it felt Like There Were less Visitors than last year. Anyway, will bei There next year fo shizzle.
Hi, I'd like to share my personal opinions on the party. I want to point out some negative issues that happened:

1) Air condition

The weather outside (where is the real party..) was excellent. I understand a need to let the fresh air into the hall. Why the emergency doors hadn't been opened for some time instead of the intensive cold blowing air from the A/C? Girls and not only them were cold and had to put on clothes. I catched cold, have a sore throart now because of this stupid idea. I also understand that not all people feel the same personal temperature but I was lucky enough to sit right under the A/C blower. How cool. I mean, how cold! For the future - If the A/C is needed, don't leave it running for too long! Thanks for the free tea, anyway. It was helping me to survive this misery.

2) Rumpus

a) The main audio was too loud. I really love my ears more than your party stereo. I couldn't stand it for a long period of time. Does anyone from the orga team responsible for audio need ear specialist? More aloud = more Adidas? Sorry, that's not my case. My ears are OK and this was simply too much. I think I was at a demo party, not at a tekkno party.

b) I slept in the party sleeping area. Because of DJ gigs ended at about 6am I couldn't sleep at all. I could stand this in my 20s, but I'm at my 40s so I don't get this racket anymore. My fault - I could have used a hotel, you'd probably say. But hey, could you think about this and make the gigs on the main stage only before midnight and not after that time? Believe the ear plugs don't save this at all.

c) Don't allow visitors to use their loudspeakers after a certain night hour. One could say it's a party feature but hey, ...just no! Keep the silence for the night hours. I'd be for at least 4 hours of continuous calm in the night. Pretty please. Could be included in the party schedule as well.

3) WiFi - it didn't work well for me. I was unable to vote because the SSID "revision" was very unstable. I was sitting in the middle left of the hall, near the "server stairs". Again, my fault. I should have brought an eth cable.

Conclusion:

Revision was etremely exhaustive event for me this time. No sleep, sore throat, cold. I think some things should change for the next year. I enjoyed the party quite well, there were bright and dark moments as well. But it's another story. I hope this will be figured out somehow for me. Thanks for the (mostly) cool party anyway! :)

When I was harping on about the "Amiga Formula One Circus" some years back
This is what I fuckin' meant!

My God, what a night, what a show that was... best anniversary beating/present ever.

Finding the right balance between the party-element and the need for sleep is a delicate issue. I faded the sub down during the late hours so as to create an atmosphere were all involved (party people and those who want to sleep) can coexist togheter peacefully.
I wonder if more people agree with Aki that it was too loud for too long?
Maybe it should be balanced more towards sleeping, or maybe we need to move the real party outside for example although I guess that might be tricky from a technical/safety/law-standpoint. Just thinking out loud here. Any takes on this?

@Aki I always wear earplugs when near a PA. :) I don't think anyone involved with the soudnsystem, be it dj's or the beamteam need an ear specialist, but like I said it good and healthy to have an open discussion about soundlevels and the need of the many vs the needs of the few. If 10 people are dancing at the second stage and the rest of the halls is sleeping the volume will allways we lower than if the opposite is true. Did you think the acts on the mainstage were too loud as well?
Also, could you zoom in a bit on what you meant by saying' I slept in the party sleeping area. ' You slept near the second stage?

I think I can answer to that. The designated sleeping area behind the big screen, although ways away from 2nd stage, is almost exactly located in the bass reflex zone from said second stage. Whatever is going on over at the infodesk/bar/2nd stage basswise reverberates immensely behind the big screen.

Numtek: Fact of the matter is, sound levels were were lower than in previous years, but some ppl rather complain than spend 15eur/night on an apartment

You don't catch a cold from cold temperatures. That's just trying to find a blame for something :P

Yes. There were even free night-shuttles which braught you to the hotel at night, which worked excellent btw. Thanks for that!

The tea was me, I will be bring my countries greatest achievement to all the parties I go to in future :)

That was a great party, compos were soooo good, the amiga and oldschool in particular. Great zx, amstrad, c64, and amiga prods in just one weekend... Thank you to all the orgas for making revision happen, and helping with lots of little things like giving me some packing tape to fix some baggage, and ordering a taxi to get to the station. Really made the whole experience so easy and fun!

But I did promise Topy, so could you please put in a bench or some thing to sit on in the showers next year so we don't get wet socks?
