No Nordlicht Demoparty in Summer 2021

Hello Demoscene!
There were two events this year that I was particularly looking forward to be celebrating with a bunch of close friends and many demosceners, one of them being my 40th birthday in June and the other one, of course, the 10th Anniversary of Nordlicht Demoparty.
However, with the pandemic still ongoing and too many public / social restrictions in place, despite infection numbers falling slowly, there is no way we could still prepare a proper event in due time scheduled for Summer 2021.
We want to celebrate 10 years of Nordlicht with all of you, with a huge bang (maybe some fireworks too!?), and give you plenty of announcement time ahead to prepare for the big weekend. Unfortunately this won't be possible in 2021, but next year when things have hopefully gone back to mostly normal, when people are fully vaccinated and public restrictions lifted, maybe then we can celebrate together again, in style!
And back to my bday .. well it'll just be a chilled evening at home with maybe 2 or 3 friends and some drinks.
