Revision 2022 - Satelite

category: parties [glöplog]
Aww, that's really harsh, poor Monotone...
Hmmm, not a satelite but of space debris, but if you are in Germany in the Thuringia area ... why not make a stop in Erfurt? Screen area is 1.25m ... lol. Bratwurst und Bier und der Grill geht nie aus. Moods Plateau still in this area? Free WiFi included :-D

It's just my home with some space in the backyard. We could squeeze in at least five to eight sleeping bags :-D

If you are bored, contact me.

Anmaja and I are planning to host something at our place in Enschede.
We've got a big lush garden with room for a campfire and a beamer-screen. There's also plenty of room inside.
I guess we can accommodate ~10-15 people.

@viniie, evilone - if you want to make sure that also people without all the good insider-connections and friends have a chance to get a spot, would you mind getting in touch with the Revision orgas via e-mail?
Then they can make sure that this is getting centrally announced, and everyone gets a shot. :)

The satellites page claims that the Brixel satellite party near Hasselt is in Germany. Any upcoming invasion plans you'd like to share? ;)

We have updated a whole lot of satellite events on our website!

  • Belgium: Brixel, Hasselt
  • Finland: Instanssi Revision Satellite, Jyväskylä
  • France: To be announced very soon :)
  • Germany (Bavaria): Comparade 2022, Emmering
  • Germany (Baden-Wuerttemberg): Shackellite, Stuttgart
  • Germany (North-Rhine Westphalia): reACtion
  • Germany (Rhineland-Palatinate): UC 11.5, Bingen/Rhein
  • Portugal: Revision Satellite Portugal, near Lisbon
  • Sweden: Edison Easter Special, Southern Stockholm
  • Switzerland: Änderigsbeiz, Winterthur
  • United States: Revision Satellite @Bloop Museum, Baltimore/DC

You still don't see your country on that list and feel like you can host a party for 20-50 people?

Get in touch with the Revision organisers through our hotline, and we'll invite you in our satellite network!

Looking forward to visiting a satellite event?

Make sure you let the orgas know early and where ticket sale applies, get them soon - you help them out big times with their planning and tight schedules (and general orga-anxieties)!
Your satellite is not even asking for an admission fee, but e.g. for donations at the location? Support them if you can, they are investing a lot of work and love right now behind the scenes, to make this experience great for everyone!

And we have an invitation!

Thank you to MFX, Farbrausch and Poo-Brain for bringing back some serious 1990s-vibe!

https://mfx.drastic.net/view/revision/

(Yes, yes, and of course here in a few minutes as well!)

Also, we decided that all our proceeds from t-shirts will be donated to Ukrainian relieve funds.
The demoscene does not know borders, but it knows solidarity - let's show it together.

So get yours NOW - while you also check out the latest news around our live acts, events and more at

https://2022.revision-party.net/blog/invitation-released/

Revision will be free this year - however, should you be able to afford it, we are of course also very glad about anyone who can help us out by buying a supporter ticket - or come to one of our many satellite events (more to be announced very soon!)

Little question, will there be a "sign up" page on the Revision website to fill in your nickname and group like in other (online) years?

By the way … Revision 2023 needs an extra-day to show all great releases from 2020-2022 on a real big screen.

Sadly we're nog going to host a Satellite... Dealing with some medical stuff. Don't worry, nothing life-threatening :) , but probably not a good idea to have lots of people depend on us.

  • Hungary (Budapest): Vault51 Watchparty, Budapest
  • Switzerland: Post Tenebras Lab Watchparty, Geneva

As usual, you can find links to all their sites at https://2022.revision-party.net/satellites/ - please let them know early that you are coming, as they are entering the hot phase of logistics planning (which includes, as you might have heard from dfox during our stream, a whole bunch of exclusive Revision-giveaways and surprises coming straight from Saarbrucken)!

Apologies if this was already stated somewhere and I missed it, but how will the compo deadlines work this year? I seem to recall that they were earlier than "normal" for previous online editions.
added on the 2022-04-01 23:17:42 by fizzer fizzer
We are still finalising the timetables, but expect the compo deadlines to be very similar to last year.
Hope we can post the final timetable very soon!

On a related note: We published more info about our music acts, special events and more!

So make sure to sign up for the 5k-Run to get your pandemic-lockdown-bodies back in shape before we return to IRL parties, and the Shader Showdows to show off that your brain didn't get out of shape at all!

And don't forget to get yourself one of the awesome Revision shirts! All proceeds, as previously announced, will go to humanitarian relief funds responding to the invasion of Ukraine.

The timetable is up!

Check out https://2022.revision-party.net/events/timetable/

Uploads for all competitions will open up in the second half of next week.
Make sure to keep an eye on those deadlines!

(so to answer your question, Fizzer: the deadlines are pretty much JIT, classic demoparty style :)
Make that the second half of this week. At least, I hope that's what they meant :-)
