why all untergrund.net links redirect to zxaaa.net?

sq: https://www.untergrund.net does not. I was under the impression it was supposed to be fixed a while back but it hasn't happened yet :)

are .htaccess files forbidden on untergrund? I tried to add some very basic one, but all attempts result in a server error page :(

yeah, the untergrund.net redirect shit was fixed in the past, but looks like it breaks again when updating accounts. At least the zxaaa-redirect should be gone as this site is no longer hosted with us.

rez: I believe some overrides are allowed, but others aren't. point me to a dir with the .htaccess giving an error in it, and I'll check.

The untergrund email doesn't seem to work right now, it's just me or it's for everybody?

Hey, phpMyAdmin is not currently working properly in Untergrund.net

Seems that it's possible to execute few operations per session in phpMyAdmin and after tweaking things for a moment it starts to print:
"Error in Processing Request
Error Code 403
Error Text: Forbidden"

To reproduce, login to phpmyadmin and click around on the database/table views to see the table contents. The error should appear pretty soon after doing this like 10 times

Would be great if there was fixed! Ada.untergrund.net needs some love and hard to improve things without this tool. Thanks!

rale: I *might* have fixed the issue. If not, I need to see what you are doing live when you are doing it. In this case please contact me on SceneCity.

Still seems to be occuring. Very easy to reproduce if you login to phpmyadmin and do almost any action and it happens very fast. For example editing any entry in a table gives same error.

It might bet that mod_security needs to be disabled for phpMyAdmin completely or ignore big bunch of rules related to it, which might be tricky.

Yeah, mod_security is a bitch when it comes to phpmyadmin. Sadly everything on those servers is highly outdated. Let's investigate via SceneCity together this weekend.

I've replaced the *.untergrund.net wildcard certificate for the webserver and mail services. Let me know in case you have any problems.

By the way: Happy 20th birthday, untergrund.net.

Hi

I sent a request for some untergrund webspace many, many, many moons ago. For a forever home for our group. Did I get declined or has the request been lost in the wind?

Hi,

I didn't change anything but suddenly i can't log to my users.untergrund.net account anymore (got a 530).

Is it normal/temporary/unexpected ?

Thanks for letting me know. Was the result of some DDoS attack, and was ...unexpected :)

I can't play MP3 files or any audio files on my untergrund site. It gives me a 403 error. Here is the MP3 file.

I've tried uploading it to the FTP, instead, but I get the same problem. Is there a fix or a workaround for this?
this might be on your side. your example works perfectly fine here (ff)
I guess that it is. I used Google Chrome and I got a 403 error. However, whenever I use any other browser, it works fine. Do you know how to get this to work on Chrome?
It's a HTTP protocol violation in Chrome that is triggering some web security stuff. Firefox uses the correct HTTP request parameters, which is why it's working there.

(For those who care: Chrome first requests the bytes "0-" (no end number) of the file to... I don't know... read metadata or something, and then hard-closes the connection. The it does another strange request to actually fetch parts of the MP3. Or in other words: Firefox is trying to download the MP3, Chrome is trying to stream it.)

I've now removed the security rule, so your mp3 now works fine with Chrome.

That's no HTTP protocol violation. “0-” is a perfectly valid range; see RC2616 section 14.35 for the grammar.
