Yeah, it was me on GitHub. I look forward to seeing v4.1 to see if my issues were fixed. I used iTunes in my old, updated 64-bit W10 Pro. PC.
ok, the background mode should be more stable.
Regarding the files being still in playlists when removed, it will be the same in v4.1 (you have to remove them manually of run "cleanDB" in more/maintenance screen).
I will add a feature in v4.2 to automatically check all playlists and remove relevant entries when a file is deleted.

Really cool that you’re still maintaining this!
One suggestion I have would be to help content discovery for lack of a better word - some examples, try searching for “slide” and you get a huge list where it would be very helpful to filter whether you’re looking for the artist or a song title - similarly, some kind of time filtering would also be neat .. “1994”
Although I appreciate that metadata on these files probably aren’t very clean or well structured.. :)

yes, more filters would be useful, I need to think about how to implement it.
meanwhile you can add / before and after, i.e. search for "/slide/" if you want to target the author (as it is part of the full path).
also I wanted to have a look at demozoo apis and amp (amiga music preservation) as well. Might be more structured with reliable metadata.
