Eclipse - REZ Chiptune Musicdisk Comes To Bandcamp
category: music [glöplog]
In 1996, Eclipse originally released the 64 Kb Chip Disk at Volcanic 1996. This featured 11 chiptunes by REZ, and they are also known as tinytunes. You can view it at: https://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=212
This year, they are finally coming to Bandcamp being called "Chiptune Musicdisk". You can find it at: https://ep1126.bandcamp.com/album/chiptune-musicdisk

That would be nice to ask the original author first.
Remove it now please.
Remove it now please.
:D Rez has the leading
"delete this" energy
Wow…
You even put "name your price" on a stolen product. What a shame.
@EP1126: You didn't asked rez before releasing this?! WTF.
From page 1 of The Little Book Of Good Manners:
"Asking for permission beforehand is a universal social courtesy that respects boundaries, builds trust, and prevents misunderstandings"

Holy fucking shit.
How come the link is still up!?
maybe nobody reported it
I need to send an email with some legal text in order to reclaims this to be taken down, I will do that when I will have more time (holidays are near and I have ton of work).
Well honestly if he asked properly first perhaps I think I would gave my permission, but I think putting the my early and very-average modules only on a non-demoscene music store is a bit strange, especially since I never posted these songs myself anywhere since I am not very proud of them and this is surely not the one I want to promote.
I feel like he had good intentions first, but the method is weird.

I love how you have to do the work now to get it taken down, the future is truly wonderful.
it's timbaland vs the scene all over again!
So lame. Make your own tunes especially if you put "name your price" to it. Otherwise ask permission.
Otherwise it is theft
I just reported it on bandcamp, you can do that even if you are not the copyright holder. All bits help I guess?
did the same
and of course he thought it would be a great idea to advertise it on pouet amongst all the other places :) lol
Any news?
still on… and btw that person seems to like posting other people stuff on SC https://soundcloud.com/ep1126
And seems to have commented on some prod..
