Calling a non-coding compo "coding" is a disgrace.

Seriously now, many compos at Assembly involve coding. So it makes no sense to call the AI compo just the "coding" compo.

Please, remove the screenshot of this prod 'cause it's actually from another prod (not yet here on pouët) from CTM that happens to have almost the same name than this one.

Only that screenshot is wrong, everything else is correct.

in the nfo or a comment or not at all, any which way you like, i don't care. but you are not to add fake or duplicate accounts.

If we add a claude user that we can use for credits, it'll be easy to see all the prods where claude was used. But it's okay if that's not something you don't find interesting.

Regarding the compo name. The point of the compo was to see what could be done with ai coding (aka vibecoding). Naming the compo "coding" is not quite accurate.

Before that the category was "fake demo". I tried to change it and the closest name available was "coding" but I was hoping the request would trigger adding the actual name.

i don't find adding fake accounts interesting, no. there's thousands of prods without credits, they're just fine.

Please remember pouët's function as a meeting place for demosceners where we can discuss about our prods and vote.

Prods that should be properly categorized (whether we like them or not), just as they are on Demozoo, for example.

Your objection to the creation of fake accounts is fully justified and doesn't need to be emphasized. However, there's no reason to delay creating a proper (meaning descriptive and neutral) category for those demos whose programming has involved artificial intelligence.

Remember that helping to improve the website is part of the responsibilities that the community's trust has entrusted to you.

ham: not sure what you're hoping to achieve with that melodramatic nonsense, fwiw, i just don't have time or motivation to look into that whole AI compo mess. if you feel entitled to better service please ask our chatbot maali for a service ticket on the oneliner

had a look and decided on "combined ai" for the compo. it was a combined compo and this might serve as well in the future for covering more.

@ham: not every compo name / type needs to be here just because random party has a random nice compo if that can't be covered with an already existing one. Because in the end it is about prods and commenting and not having a correct compo type. One can look that up at demozoo since almost every new party/prod has a link anyways.

and i am personally truly sorry for not serving your highness as fast as your netflix account does. however it would have been nice of you to consider that we do this in our spare time. so i second havoc.

@sensenstahl: Thank you. I think there's been a misunderstanding here. I'm a very patient person. I wasn't asking for speed, just what's fair (that there be a more appropriate name for the competition than "coding," and I wasn't the only one asking for it, as you surely know better than me).

I imagine you had to perform some serious acrobatics to calm havoc down. That must have taken time, and I appreciate and respect that.
