Any updates? I'm tempted just to book travel anyhow before it gets to expensive. Worse case illegal demoparty!

We have found a new partyplace, and only 3 km from where we have been for 16 years. So hotels, transport can stay the same.
It will have dedicated sleeping area, cafeteria with food and beer, space for 150+ participants + other useful commodities .. like a multilevel toilettunnel. Food tickets will also be covered with 2xbreakfast and dinner saturday night as usual.
More info will of course follow, but tell your friends and come to Denmark!

Well .. yeah, but a lot is going and the first place "forgot" to mention the additional €1500 we also needed to pay, and budget was already stretched 😞
Luckily we made a backup plan with a place just north of Aarhus (10 min more by car) and if everything goes well, we can announce that place instead. Basically its better than the other place, except hotels are further away and no toilettunnel.

.. so, we're going to scout the newest hall tomorrow. Looking very promising .. 240 m2 sleeping hall, we can buy greasy/fatty stuff at very nice prices, we can bring our own booze, they put out beer for us if they are closed, and it is ~1 km from public transport, which we might even pick you up from if needed.
So the hall is same size as we are used too, just not with badminton/volleyball/pickleball player behind the molton and what seems to be even better facilities, and a bit lower price. So far the only minus is the cafeteria isn't open as much as we are used to. Also hotels are further away, but we expect to confirm this on monday.
We're scouting the place tomorrow to secure it fits your demanding needs.
(We would rather pay a lower price to a place that actually appreciates us, than have you guys sponsor a more expensive place, that dont - then you can use that money for taxis to hotels if you need it - although sleeping area is massive and a separate hall/room)

We've closed a deal with the new place. Massive hall like usual, 240 sqm sleeping area, cafeteria with healthier-ish food, slush ice, 2€ beers (not draft though) and if requested, a bouncycastle as well.
It is though 18 km away from the last place and hotels are not really nearby but possibly some airbnb or bed&breakfast in close proximity. You can take a train from aarhus central station, it stops 1 km away.

I can see that Airbnb has a few places in walking proximity with quite a lot of beds, so if you are a group booking together, it's a lot cheaper than hotel.
