i mean no? um? i'm just not sure about the best way of adding programmed art section to our site .....maybe i should just link straight to pouet for that section? or not?
also i think some of the amazing artwork here is actually better than most graduates work ....so it would be good to see some at studentsart to encourage the students....the problem is i think that the schools and curriculum restricts the students into using inferior software so i would be nice to have a resource like pouet to show the kids that their school is basically ***crap***

While you're just born as a bloody & bitter lamer :D
But back off again, your pink friend only, is the toy of the day.

You're there to make publicity for your sites in an attempt to recruit people, so make it once for a good and basta.

Anyway, everybody and their dog call themselves "artist" nowadays.

Like i said hitchhiker i am considering having a programmers art section but didnt want to if it is viewed as competition to the demoscene
i was wondering if maybe we should link the whole programmers art section direct to pouet.net or not?
or which way people think is best?

as for being the toy of the day? um?
i suggest you find a female toy instead and maybe do what men and women do :)
@hitchhikr:

LOL

Incorrect. Not really arsed with any input from users in here, it's just my sick nature of visiting here and reading your drivel.

pinkie should invest his time on doing art himself so he can fill his gazillion artsites with his _own_ crap. Rather than bugging _real_ artists about borrowing their work so he can 'ride on their fame'..
BB Image

Maali: real artists where?
If sceners were interested in fame, they would beg for pinkpanthers to 'ride on their fame' because advertisement gets recognition. But no, sceners have more fun with flaming outsiders.

Gem : you've missed the point : this one costs £1200 for a 4 ft SIGNED ORIGINAL COPY, so what maali paints aint no shit comparing to this. ph3ar

what we're doing here is showing artists that their work is worth alot (ie an original for £1200) we do this by showing in the purchase page all the different sizes available at different prices from £5 right upto £1200 so everyone can afford a print of one size or another.....we want to make the pictures available cheaper for people in places like poland/hungary etc etc so that people can afford them...maybe get them printed there eventually.....but for now we only have a basic ordering structure just in the uk so this is difficult but if anyone asks me we could probably do them really cheap if anyone in poland etc really wanted one......
ps maybe just send u the file sort of thing.. ;o) i'm sure our artists wouldnt mind when we ask them.....what i really want to do is sell a picture for millions? now how the hell do I do that?

now get ready for HARD bashing XD

like i said the artists would probably let the file go really cheap or even for free if its a felow artist or scener....

AT LEAST WE ASK THE ARTISTS FIRST which is alot more than most people do when they decide they like a picture and nick it....
hmm, dont think it was that proceeding was talking about
but my productions are worth way more than a lousy 1200 pounds.. ffs :P
mali: its 'FROM' £1200.... each artist is different

i want a REALLY famous artist like Lucian Freud to submit his 'student' work from when he was at school/college....the only problem is that then we would be inundated with artist submissions and i couldnt keep up until we automate the site....
for every customer who buys a print we get 10 artists submit work just through word of mouth..........i cant wait to automate the uploading/data retreival and watermarking of the submissions........by the way its really interesting talking about art and the worldwide scene's views on it....
panther, as you seem to be an expert on the value estimation bit, how much is this worth? a lot of thought and expression went into it, and i heard that it's considered really quite revolutionary for its kind.
