Oldskool rave

category: general [glöplog]

Can someone name some of the original oldskool underground rave groups/artists who were remixed and sampled for demos like Jesus on Es, Technowarrior, Total Kaos, State of the Art and Bass megademos. !

Just for my personal listening pleasure and nostalgia. Thanks.
i think maybe altern-8 is in there somewhere... (its too long ago to remember now)

Jesus on Es featured a lot of N-Joi. They have some great tracks. No idea if it's "oldskool", "underground" or "rave" though.

Antico - We Need Freedom is joes#10
you could mail Echo/LSD (www.spoonwizard.com) and ask him what he sampled. He'll get back to you more than likely, tho right now he IS getting married, so it might be a bit, um, not the most important thing his wife-to-be has him doing.
The House Crew (House Production inc.),
Ramos&Supreme (Hectic rec.),
all Slammin Vinyl releases from 1 - 10.
Luna C (Knite Force Rec.), numerous artists of
the legendary Suburban Base label (see earlier releases).

must have a look at my old vinyl collection to deliver some
artist names instead of labels only

shot dead INTO a live studio audience? Like from a big cannon? I'd pay to see that live!
