And if you happen to have A1200 innards that you would like to go to a good home, I live in Finland now and will gladly accept.

Also, Atari ST machines, C64 machines, Spectrum machines, any 8 bit things that need a good home, dreamcast things, c128/plus 4 things, Oric machines and tape things, early mac machines, late mac machines, Kaypro luggables, spare gba flashcarts, and of course any additional Amiga related things. All tape/disk/cables would be nice as well.
well I surely can give you for free an A1200 original case as I have a lot of them but...
if you have the 1200 already into a tower I would really recommend 2 things to you:
1) 90º pcmcia adapter;

2) reset hack on it obviously. clieck me
I'd *never* put my 1200 back into the original case :)

Danzig and fr-33 should purchase an a1200 together and Danzig can have the case and fr-33 the innards. Problem solved :)

hehehe... i didnt thought my posting would lead into THIS direction at all..
about the 90° pcmcia-adapter: ^^evil, that was my intention to do for a long time BUT the price for such an adapter is just not worth it. the last time i got an offer that a**hole wanted 60 EUROS for it and that is definately too much just for an 90° angle ;)
THAT is why I thought about gettin' my dirty hands (dirty hands, donkey dick, pcmcia.... wondering? ;) ) on an original case...
im using windozes far too much nowadays and i want to "reactivate" my A1260 but without network->sucks();
an building my own 90° adapter is just not my c\~/ to speak in pouet words :)

60 euros ? <--- WTF!!!!1
I got mine for 10, be sure to watch ebay for it.
HERE it costs 40 euros, well... also expensive.
anywayz... if you really still want the original case contact me on irc or drop an email :)
I am easy to find...
(if you need the keyboard too I only have french AZERTY or english QWERTY available)

Please make sure Sir Garbagetruck gets one AZERTY - the last time I've seen him using it he loved it.
Oh yeah, I just LOVE French keyboards. Shifting to hit numbers, yeah. That's... yeah.

I did realize the other day (when packing my stuff in UK for move to FI) (a few days ago, in other words) that the Dreamcast keyboard is a QWERTZ keyboard. I do hope that's not something hardcoded into the keyboard, i.e. the keypresses are determined by the dreamcast console, not the keyboard... cuz Typing of the Dead is going to be very, very frustrating if not (:
@evil:

YAY....that would be teh shit!

I thought I'd start a platform war by saying that if you're into Commodore computers you don't care about the cost of peripherials but I decided not to.

Being an Amiga fan, you get used to spending far too much money for not very powerful gear. I don't care... its *FUN* ;-)

Word!
it's like fuzzing around with an old car.
You spent a hell of money because you love it somehow

That's not too much considering. On the other hand what you get is a piece of dull white/gray plastic :P
