planet-d is having some problems, we all know... but it has served good. time goes on, opengl gets old, and above all untergrund.net will save the scene ;)

I just created an account here in order to submit a reply, and some infos.
First of all, accept my apologies for the delays incurred in the system reconstruction. The problem is that we're in august, and I was alone to do it, so it took time.
Second, for dalezy about the lack of 'answer'. Ok, I didn't receive any of your emails either. I think there are plenty of ways to get in touch with me or others sysadmins, you can get our emails, IRC, or even phone number by looking in the appropriate ways. And YES, I reply to most emails, even to say 'I'm sorry, I'm unable to add the feature / account / and so on you requested'
The only emails I don't answer to are the hundreds of account creation demands, that blatantly aren't demoscene related.
From now on, people more in the 'scene' than me, such as Guard][an, will relay demands, which I hope will make things better.
Third, the crash we had was a very bad one. It began with a lame hack, then a hard disk failure, etc... now We have a brand new system disk. The user's data shouldnt be damaged, but you know there are plenty of problems that can arise... and probably also because reconfiguration isn't complete, or lacks some data... FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME ! please ! It's better to have 10 times the same email in my box than to read on a forum 'planetd sucks, my account doesn't work' !
Fourth and last, for those who want to leave, please email me so I can remove your account and make room for newcomers.

People say that it's having problem with the harddrive and the admins are trying to replace it, but we have no more news from the last month.
So, anybody knows what's happening?

with all respect to planet-d, i think if this type of mishap is frequent (it seemingly is), it might be a good idea to entirely mirror themselves to untergrund.net
