Does anybody here know the norwegian musicians "Next life"?

The danish newspaper "Politiken" brings an article about them today, where they describe them as a mixture between Computer game synths and Death Metal - they name the genre "Gameboy Death Metal" and I can't help wondering if these guys have been in the scene?

The nordic readers can read the article here:

but heck, they're young. so like, if they had anything with the scene in common, they'd still be active sceners i think.
and the gameboy is not very demosceneish, i think. check out Machinae Supremacy for similar, yet scene-related music :)

well, the guy to the right is duckhunter/spaceballs and a ex-fellow creator. i thought he usually shreds his guitar though. :)

I found this old thread that concerns my band Next Life :) The latest years I´ve only been to a couple of C64 parties in Sweden, but I will attend at Kindergarden 2007 with band and hopefully a contribution to one of music compos.

Yeah, it's true, we don't look very deathmetal. That's probably why we get more jobs in theaters/galleries than in traditional music clubs. Also the music is too hybrid and technological for a classic deathmetal-fan to accept. So If you're into long hair with wind in it, then Machinae Supremacy is good (I love what they did for the game Jets'n Guns). If you're sick of that and only want pure adrenalin regardless of style, then Next Life could be something for you :)

Greets from Duck-Hunter/Spaceballs.
