How to view parties for a given date range in pouet.net ?

category: general [glöplog]

Is there a way to quickly view the latest demo parties in pouet ?

I know there is a box called "Latest parties" but it only show the last 5 five parties.

What for example if I want to see what were the parties between 01/2016 to 05/2016 ?

Not an exact solution but the customizer can let you show more latest and upcoming parties.

dont think so.

you can use the api to crawl them though:
http://api.pouet.net/

might want to push request (or mail the admins) for a specific call though, to get full list of parties limited by start date and end date. would be cleaner way to get the info.

Party dates are not stored in the db though. Might wanna ask demoparty.net for that.

Maybe people should go nuts about opensourcing demoparty.net too so they can contribute the shit out of it like they do about pouet.

and demoparty.net doesn't list all upcoming parties equally, but shows some only a short time before they happen. not sure if bug or curation.

AFAIK it's 5 directly upcoming ones and then the 3 upcoming ones that have the largest signup count.

gargaj: open sourcing demoparty.net would be nice, but i believe you're just sour trolling.

why did tigrou get banned? O_O

I wish I was trolling, but at this point demoparty.net is probably way behind Pouet when it comes to update responsiveness. Case in point the RSS which removes the entire string if there's a single BMP unicode character in it - which of course _I_ get shit for since Pouet syndicates it. And yes I reported it months ago to no avail.
