I am getting mental of people calling Super Mario World 3D, Legend of Grimrock or even Doom a 2.5D game.

Also, all your 3D graphics are really projected 2d graphics.

So 2.5D is the new isometry?

I freaked out yesterday about people calling Doom a raycaster, everything a 2.5D and bad graphics a 4bit.

Some guy once said (he wasn't even a programmer, he was an avid adventure gamer) "But even 3d games are project in 2d".

Like, people saying "the Pc Engine is more like between SNES and NES, so it must be 12bit". Hahahaha!!!
