What oswald said, we're too old for this. How about a book review on stage at revision instead?

well if nobody wants it, I can always not bother and save myself a couple of weeks' work! It's supposed to fill that gap while we're waiting for the demos to come on. In terms of reviews, a lot of people DID like the previous one, so it's for their benefit, not yours. As for the people who didn't like it, I laughed like a loon at the people slagging it off on #breakpoint. It was very very funny. For the person who said it wasn't creative enough, well if you can think of something more absurd than people stuffing potatoes down their pants or jugglers arm-wrestling, then you have my email address. Feel free to suggest!

People who say it should contain more scene-related stuff... well they did a more serious sceney quiz at assembly.. I was deliberately trying to avoid doing something like that, as asking loads of general knowledge scene questions is unbelievably dull. There are 3 rounds directly related to scene stuff, and there's scene elements in 2 of the others. The music rounds of the past have required there to be a musician on each team (not that you would've noticed :-D Syphus and Icabod doing a cockney version of "anarchy in the UK" was pure..erm.. "genius"!). In a similar manner, the picture drawing round is supposed to call in the talents of resident gfxians, although that usually ends up in the same state.

But, if you'd all rather stare at an empty stage, then feel free to complain and I'll pull the plug.

(I was taking the piss btw. Do the quiz :D) (Unless there's seriously more demand for a book review than having fun at a party, in which case forget the quiz. And the party too.)

Hm, the response on pouet really sucks - shame on you all.

I've experienced the quiz three times now and every single edition has been awesome and I'm 100% sure that the one we're having at Revision will be, too.

I don't think we should drop the quiz just because we're getting old... the quiz just needs to adapt. I propose that the "eating crisps with chilli sauce while hitting your opponents on the head with an inflatable hammer" round should be replaced with an "eating a nice plate of Mr Kipling Bakewell Slices while angrily waving your walking stick at your opponents" round.

And remember, if hit by a hammer, put both hands on your head and say "Whaaaaa"!

"Drinking a full cup of tea without falling asleep". Points awarded for amount drunk before sleeping, points deducted for amount of cup + saucer rattle due to shaking hands.

No freestyle rapping please, too awkward :D

Recap from B2010 looks pretty harmless ftp://ftp.untergrund.net/breakpoint/2010/misc/bp10_misc_sundown_quiz_h264.mp4

You should hire a Applause person, and add sound effects :)

the "put N potatoes in pants"-round should be done with lobsters instead!

I think we need to change "response/darklite" to "someone from Darklite".
My guess will be tFt or any other Darklitemember at Revision but me.

I'm just plain boring! Hell; I suck! :)

Xerxes & tFt it is!
