I absolutely love the attention this demo is getting, all of it well deserved. Being a bit WonderSwan crazy myself, I never thought I'd see anything like this, but now that I have, I must thank you for putting in the hours, days, months and years, because this one really made me smile. It's not often you see something like this on a long forgotten platform.

For all intents and purposes, *Finally* is the only proper WonderSwan demo, both with and without music, but to set things straight and give credit where credit is due, Dual Crew Shining made a couple of WonderSwan cracktros / trainers, all of which had sound, if I recall correctly. I think there were two cracktros used in multiple games. One mono and one in color. Both of them had different tunes playing. So, even though they weren't demos per se, music was done before. All of these were coded by Sekret, by the way.

Can't wait to see more WonderSwan demos and I hope the success of *Finally* will encourage others to give WonderSwan a closer look! This is, by far, the most exciting demoscene development I've witnessed in the recent years. Great job.

This demo will probably cause the Wonderswan prices to go through the roof! :)

I, for one, am really excited to see those. That should shut them crickets up. When is the artpack due?

Yeah, it's been on work since the release of the artpack 2, kinda.
Which means 2005. Gosh, there's 700MB of Titan works (only graphics and music) in it.
I've been thinking of a real demodesign for some kind of introduction, and real interactive stuff, full of awesomeness and giggles. There are builds of it already done, but I'm the one reponsible of the design and life got me out of it for a shitload of times - which, obviously, got everyone involved out everytime, over and over again. Now that time has passed and that I seriously changed my vision about art, how it has to be done and stuff, the first storyboard is out of date I'd say. So, well, yeah. Got some stuff to do for the next month art-ish wise, I'll get back to it afterwards, Morden :)
And yeah, cool story bro.
Alien, le love!

I am definitely getting a Wonderswan, it seems like a nice machine with nice games. But this Wonderwitch is the only way to run stuff in the machine? It doesn't seem as easy to find.

We used a WonderMagic Color which can run "backup" roms or homebrew. Wonderwitch only does homebrew afaik. It definitely is a nice console with some good games :). Recommend you get a SwanCrystal which has a nice screen, much better than the others models. Both are hard to come by unfortunately.

The images from the first post, showing various stages of production, and unused parts, no longer work. Can someone (that someone being alk) re-upload them? Also, you guys should upload those alternative versions somewhere, because it sure looks like that artpack isn't coming in the near future. Unless I've missed something.

@fiveofive I was just wondering if you still have the wonderwitch updates, as they are almost impossible to get nowadays.

Thanks for the making of!
It's often hard to grasp how much work was needed to accomplish a prod. Especially with exotic hardware!

Friendly fuckings to Titan for making such cool shit! :D

Thanks for sharing this, it must have been horrible at moments :) Also, I would love to see the skipped effects (the heartcube part looks ace) and saxxon music being released elsewhere.

I've gotta say if @alk or @fiveofive could share your updated wonderwitch files, it would be nice.
It isn't even possible to create new wonderwitch accounts anymore.
