• watched the final now.
  i dont have a problem with the DUNE theme, especially when its so atmospheric.
  some 3d models look too uncanny early 2000'ish, tho (and yeah i know its an 8k and has its limits but the secret is to work around them).
  the sandworm scene breaks down to 8 fps on my rig while the other scenes were something between 60 and 30 (4070 ti here) - so i guess there would be room for optimizations in theory there ;).
  soundtrack is splendid but i expect nothing less from virgill.
  
  tl;dr: great work but you put the scope/expectations a tad too high and failed to reach it at some points - mainly bc of the (self inflicted) 8k limit and probably also time (as usual).
