as for the music, a truly welll-polished track, Chromag. I only have one little thing i'd like to criticize/ask: Is it just me or were your melodies in some recent Rebels demo similar to this one? It's just that the melody sounds so familiar. I think you did exceptionally well with both the opening (guitar) and the end of the track in the credits part. The little orchestral touches fitted really well and gave the demo special attention in those two parts. For my personal taste, the track could have been a tiny bit more aggressive in the main part, since the visuals are very dynamic, IMO too dynamic for the flow of the song.
Thanks for the feedback. I have looked through the latest Rebels releases with my music and couldn't find any similair parts in the melodies but you never know how deep melodies are engraved in your subconsciousness. Maybe it's also because I used similair lead instruments...
The idea for the structure and instrument setup of this track came immediately when we learned about this year's Breakpoint motto, Digital Garden. This may sound pretentious but the antagonism of artificial and organic elements are reflected in the use of synth and acoustic instruments, hence you can hear the orchestral instruments in the main part, too. Not very subtle ;)
If you play the music backwards, it says "Boobies for everyone" - isokadded on the 2008-02-25 23:35:15
