- demo Amiga AGA Origin by Complex [web]
- How did I miss this? One of the first and best Aga demos ever. Great code, music, graphics and design. An all round beauty.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Impulse 2 by Tilt & Old Bulls
- One of the best designed demos I've ever seen. Outstanding music with incredible synchronisation and a very cute atmosphere. An overlooked classic in my mind.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Damage by Old Bulls
- Overlooked and highly underrated. I liked the music, though it has a slightly unusual style.

- Actually I thought there was more Breakpoint coverage than there was. Sorry if I sounded sarcastic with my previous comment. But my opinion stands. I still enjoyed reading this issue.

- diskmag Windows Hugi #27 - The Freedom Diskmag by Hugi [web]
- I've only been able to read the mag online as my PC has packed up, but judging the article content alone, I found it to be a very poor issue.
There has been a lot happening on the scene - with Breakpoint happening not too long ago - and I'd have thought it would be an ideal time to release a scene mag. But instead it was filled with inane nonsense and cut and pasted reports from web sites.
It's really upto Adok how he fills his mag and it's not an easy task, but the Hugi style just doesn't appeal to me at all.
I suppose we can all point the finger and say it's the lack of support that's to blame, but there has to be some incentive to write articles for a mag in the first place. And I doubt many people would wish to spend hours writing, interviewing and researching for an article only to have it obscured by stupid little stories and fake interviews.
Sure, some people took time out to support the mag, but it's these people (no names, but no points for guessing) who drag the quality of the mag down and deter the more serious supporters.

- Since my PC blew up a few weeks ago I actually read this on my trusty old Amiga.
The interface is still very hard on the eyes and quite unappealing, but the article content showed a massive improvement since the last issue. Aside from a few irrelevant fillers here and there, I really enjoyed reading all the scene content and was very impressed with the new professionalism.
Nice to see Breakpoint getting some attention too (which is something Hugi seemed to overlook).
With an improved design I think there's a lot of potential here. Keep it up! - rulezadded on the 2003-07-10 19:57:13

- I didn't know such things could be done with Shockwave. I'm very impressed!
