A big plus for not being just a 3d flyby like almost every pc demo nowadays
Huh? Most PC demos are NOT 3D flybys nowadays. There are still a group or two stuck in 1998, sure, but if you watch more than two demos a year, you'll quickly see that "3D flybys" are not the norm, but the exception. - isokadded on the 2008-07-04 09:28:55

- Good for a first demo, but simply just too clean-looking and longwinded to climb to the top of the Intel Demo Competition. The music didn't feel very inspired, and the visuals were .. well, a bit dull and "clean". Still, good effort - I wait in anticipation for your next demo guys :)

- Very impressive. The opening effect alone is worth the wait of the release of the Intel Demo Competition entries. :) The soundtrack is just eerie yet substantial enough to work perfectly with the visuals. I just love when coders have a sense of style. Perhaps the best MFX demo this year!
Btw; You just HAVE to appreciate the balls of including chopped samples of your own scene handle in the track. :) - rulezadded on the 2008-07-03 08:54:00

- Oh guys, when you have static models that look this good, why not throw in some effects as well?! We know you can do it! :) The music was great (real drive behind it, the drums I suspect) but it had a very "dry" sound which I didn't like that much. The models and textures as great as always but I didn't really get any "wow" from the visuals themselves. I did enjoy the tiny bit if kinetic typography that was in there as well. :) A really solid prod, but just too dull for my taste (effects damnit! effects!! :) -- but a thumbs up for sure!

- Sure, it may be a bit disconnected (but just a bit, not the flamboyant mix of a thousand styles as some suggest here), but it is still f---ing solid. The pipes (love the welding-points) are alone the most original idea I have seen in a demo this year (it might be from something at XPLSV.tv for all I know, but I choose to think not :). I don't really love the music (too uneventful, but still well made) but not really something that pulls it down as a whole. The smoke and blobby effects look really good, but I can't help but think that some different camera angles would have elevated them both. Still, a lot of details (shadows on both of those two effects, the greetings spread throughout in different elements etc.) make this a solid, solid demo - perhaps the best in the compo.

- While it may not be the most technically impressive prod for the Intel Demo Competition this year.. who CARES?!? It is so fucking well directed! :) When the white line breaks free I seriously got chills! CHILLS! :)
My hat off to you guys. - rulezadded on the 2008-07-03 08:12:01

- Nice and cute! May lack a polish (no, not code from Bonzaj) but the music makes up for it. :)
