• If it's slow, then it's buggy. It should be lightning fast on an MBP, considering that it is pretty fast on an MB w/ gma950. Which parts are slow on your machine? (it's not a first prod, btw)

• DaD1916: the "kernelError..." message is caused by BASS, I think. Should work without problems nevertheless (though I have OSStatus = 15).
