  The Nintendo DS SDL doesn't support 16 bit surfaces.
  
  I tried doing a native port, but it seems i couldn't set up a double-buffered 16bit framebuffer, and it was very slow anyway.
  
  It IS possible to do a decent DS version by replacing the rendering routines with ones that use the 3D hardware (although the stuff that draws the lines around the edges would have to be done totally differently).
  
  Basically, it might or might not happen. I'm seriously considering a DS version of hivelytracker, though.
