- Music is a plain rip, not even just a heavy sampling. It's from a great album though, 'smokers delight'. Demo didn't appeal to me apart from that, especially the 'kissing sperm'... wtf?! Not outright bad, but still a thumb down for ripping and not even crediting the original.

- Ah, had forgotten those. Raises an interesting question though. Although having typed it, I reckon it'd be better on the bbs so cut and past it is..

- Tasty! Been hankering after a bit of rave for a while.. this will do the job nicely. Good trip down memory lane too, and a nice interface too. Good work!

- Thanks ryg, makes sense now. Any plans to use wide displays properly in future prods btw? Seems they're becoming the standard now.

- demo Windows fr-055: 828 by Farbrausch [web]
- Thwarted! Just saw the final link, and I have a nice 17" widescreen laptop with a decent GPU handy! Perfect! Gave it a quick go.. highest res, 4x AA, 16x10. And it was running perfectly, except that the video card refused to stretch the demo itself to fill the screen (the loading bar filled it, so I don't know why not? Or is it a bug?) and worse still, I couldn't see shit because some engineer at sony thought the monitor would look better with a reflective coating! I want to watch demos mr. sony, not my own face!
So, looks to be working well, except possibly the aspect ratio, which might or might not be down to the video card or driver. It's an x700 btw, no idea on the driver version. - isokadded on the 2007-03-14 14:28:22

- FINALLY got it to run.. on the vista laptop. I think that's the first thing I've managed to get working on vista ;D Well, rulage obviously... infact, if I were to criticise it I'd say there was too much good stuff going on at once. I'm going to have to watch it 4 times, once per screen.
Keops: will mail it. Forgot to check the nfo, despite reading it earlier.. doh. - rulezadded on the 2007-03-12 17:35:24

- Thanks gargaj. That had the added benefit of making it close nicely when it crashes :)
Keops: where do you want these two files mailing to? If you want them at all that is. - isokadded on the 2007-03-12 17:26:00

- And just to confirm my suspicions about vista, I stick the usb disk in and get: "This device has a problem." "Your new hardware could not be installed." "Software installed successfully." WTF?

- keops: after reboot, with all apps closed, and single screen... same error. At least since the reboot when it's closed down (I have to kill it from task manager) I get my screen back :) I'll try it on a brand new, top-of-the-range vista laptop that's sat next to me acting as a decoration (yes, the apps it needs to run don't work on vista, and no drivers for XP, thank you HP!) right now.
Bit of info incase you feel like figuring out the problem (probably not worth it if it's only me in the whole world that can't run it):
Pc is dual xeon 3ghz, 2gb ram, quadro fx 1000 video card. XP + latest updates, and most recent (or it was last week) drivers.
There was more debug info, but I didn't manage to save it before getting the screen back on, but this bit was left in the event log:
Faulting application eqx_-_frameskool_-_bp2007_64k_invit.exe, version 0.0.0.0, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x04ff7c55. - isokadded on the 2007-03-12 16:46:27
