- Oh man. By the end of this demo I was laughing. The story is overly dramatic, yet at the same time, totally non-existant. A sword with a long (silent) textual introduction, that ends up doing not one damn thing but rotate around and around and around.
And the music! Oh the music!! So dorky it was unbelievable. It did not match the overly dramatic visuals, but it did succeed in making me giggle in glee...!

- Totally 100% seen-before effects with absolutely no new twists. However, it is 640x480 software rendering, which is worth noting.

Anway...
The demo is 640x480 software rendered. Has a 'clean' design, but the effects are lifeless. It's not that there isn't movement, but they stay in one spot and never really vary their motions. Pacing is also a tad on the slowish side. - isokadded on the 2002-05-26 01:27:49

- This was alright. Nothing special, but nothing horrible. And I agree that it's odd having a chiptune stored as a 1.8 meg .mp3 file.

- There is some attempt at design here, but this thing kinda drags on. Pretty much all of the effects are warped patterns blended overtop still images. In regards to the music, I have to agree with robotriot.

- Firstly, I'm *not* thumbing up the demo, but rather two of the effects. The production itself has no design and isn't all that interesting, but it still managed to raise my eyebrows.
The cow flag+ball scene is very cool, and I quite liked the sea anemone thing. Unfortunately, the latter could've used some camera movements, or at least a better backdrop than a checkerboard, but oh well... - rulezadded on the 2002-05-23 23:52:48
