I liked the ideas in this prod, high quality scenes. Music started out great promising Jarresque scifi but in some sections sounded like car-sales ad/corporate video/stale chillout music, I'm overstating but it let me down a little, the music got my hopes up :)
Rulez, ergo thumb. - rulezadded on the 2011-01-21 22:34:15

- Wow :) First thing I liked (directly from the screenshot) was the logo, simple but that makes it good. Short and sweet, liked the effects and pretty nice intro music, nice to see 4mat in credits. No, I didn't thumb it because it had an AmigaDOS1.3 frame around it ;)
OK, so Razor1911 loves Amiga. You know what that means, you have to go back to release for Amiga ;) Do it nauww... - rulezadded on the 2011-01-21 22:14:33

I was addressing the question of if it's a scene prod or not. If it's released to make an impact on the scene and nothing else, it's a scene prod. - isokadded on the 2011-01-21 22:04:11

- A prod is a release for the demoscene. A game is a prod if the author makes it clear that he made it for other sceners. If the game is released for the public domain or someplace making money off games, it's not a prod. So it doesn't have anything to do with if it's free or costs money, or if the author happens to be in the scene when he releases it. He might release it to get attention to join a good scene group, for example.

- I would have loved it if the visual bug had been timed with a hair-raising missed note on the violin :D

- Who just finished Half-Life then? :D
After credits would have been a good time to round off the demo, and I actually skipped ahead a bit in the beginning.
Thumb is for critters, welding room, and soundtrack which actually makes the repetition "work". - rulezadded on the 2010-12-27 12:33:49

- They must have had fun making this huge animation (I watched until the Darth Vader toilet textscreen).
I could never imagine something as disturbed as the boot part! I'm defeated (but I think that's a good thing). - isokadded on the 2010-12-21 20:20:23

- Half a day matching songs with parts would have made a huge difference. It felt strangely mismatched to the ears, and second song should have started when the cubes started (I guess?). It stopped in the middle of the cubes, intended? There was no error, just end of demo. Draw a nice font maybe, instead of using a PD font? (Or even in this case Courier, arghh...! :))
Parts worked and seemed almost finished, as mentioned good for a first prod but I expected more parts and it seemed put together to a demo in a hurry.
But thanks for the fish... ;) - isokadded on the 2010-12-19 18:48:50
