The rendering is done using gl_points and gl_line strips.
If that is indeed the case, shouldn't it work on NVIDIA? - isokadded on the 2013-08-05 11:04:26

- I'm sure Firefox lives in the past but at least doesn't crash when running this, because Chrome did, every single time I tried. Hilariously, it only works in Firefox if I keep moving the mouse.
Anyway, great direction and high visual quality but I can't help thinking this could be done properly as a native intro with an actual synth and probably 3 times the framerate. - isokadded on the 2013-08-05 09:58:24
- demo Windows Return by Pyrotech
- Oh dear. I really tried to like this one because it was trying to say something but I'm not sure if succeeded.
While the audio carries (kinda) on it's own, the visual detail is really uneven, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but this is not what things should look like in 2013: Specular/reflection/AO-maps should be obvious instead of just wrapping an envmap on everything, shadows are pretty much a de-facto requirement, the radial blur has massive visible rings, there's a lot of polygon clipping, and there's no visual contrast that separates matte from shiny, background from foreground.
It's very telling that even the loading screen has aliased edges, and no, I think 320MB for this is way too much. - isokadded on the 2013-08-05 09:46:58

- Seriously, was there a good reason to use fxc.exe? :D
Other than that I'm loving this. - rulezadded on the 2013-08-05 09:32:07

- Please remove the screen distortion filter, I'm trying to see what you're hiding.
