honestly.. "the text on the left".. shitloads of videos do that, it's a design staple because it looks "nice". i put the credits text on the top right, does that mean i'm suddenly super original? maybe i'll go around shouting ripper at everyone else who puts text on the top right from now on.

- actually it was inspired by http://www.deko.lt/projects/commercial/spa-vilnius/. there's about 100 other pieces of work like this around - google for "krakatoa". that vimeo piece wasnt exactly original either.. if your frame of reference is too small it's not my fault.
the point of the demo was to do something like what krakatoa can do offline in very slow renders but in realtime, and i'm very happy to get even close to that.

- this is the best soundtrack in a cns intro ever. the visuals don't quite match it, but hey - nice work lowering expectations. :) (before whacking them up again next time probably)

- this really must have been a lot of work (especially from a pretty new group)! it goes on forever and it seems really polished as well. impressive work to polish it all well over such a long demo, with good transitions all the way and a pretty good flow.
but ... the content was so dated, when it finally ended i half expected to go back to a dos prompt. by the time the torii showed up it was really taking the piss. :)
still, it promises much for the future.

- almost great. its just those camera movements and rendering glitches spring up and ruin the mood. if it were better directed, smoother and softer all round it'd really be something.
