- demo MS-Dos Pitango by Pulse
- Thoroughly meh. More like something from 1992 than 1995.
The effect that plays during the credits is pretty neat though. - isokadded on the 2015-07-20 11:57:37

- demo Windows Game Over by The Cronies
- Thanks for the cap Starchaser!
As I understand the demo is hard-locked to 40 FPS for timing & music sync reasons (so it's my fault :p ) - hence the jerky look on youtube. Orbital Decay can chime in with more details. As always, it's nice and smooth when run from the real exe.
This should run on any 32-bit windows (even 9x) and works great on a Virtualbox machine. I haven't had much luck with WINE though.
Glad you guys enjoyed our prod! - isokadded on the 2015-06-30 23:01:48
- demo Linux Windows MacOSX PPC Jellyfish: The Jam
- Still doesn't seem to work on OSX 10.8.4 unfortunately.
Using your included luajit I get:
Code:quaoar:jimbo00000-jellyfish-the-jam-fe691b42fa6a $ ./run_the_demo.sh dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _lua_cpcall Referenced from: /Users/hjus114/Downloads/jimbo00000-jellyfish-the-jam-fe691b42fa6a/standalone/./luajit-osx Expected in: /usr/local/lib/liblua.dylib dyld: Symbol not found: _lua_cpcall Referenced from: /Users/hjus114/Downloads/jimbo00000-jellyfish-the-jam-fe691b42fa6a/standalone/./luajit-osx Expected in: /usr/local/lib/liblua.dylib ./run_the_demo.sh: line 6: 20457 Trace/BPT trap: 5 ./luajit-osx jellyfish_demo.lua compo
Using my luajit (installed from Homebrew) it sets the screen mode and then segfaults.
May just be my machine config though. - isokadded on the 2015-06-28 01:45:06
