- demo Windows Fanta by Trepaan [web]
- The visual consistency is just fantastic; I know it's a good demo when I forget I'm watching a demo and just drop into it. The fake artifacts/post-processing really hit it home. Not gonna nit-pick about the music; I hear what others are saying, but it didn't bother me.

- demo Amiga AGA Sojourn of the Soul by Flex
- ok, watched this one again and was feeling it better this time... but while obviously related to martini effect, it falls short of martini effect on many fronts, imho.
those constant color changes are way too high frequency to me. In martini effect, they worked as they gave the impression of light glittering from the surface of water when under water. but here, in particular the frequency of the glittering during the greets felt very rushed. also the videos felt disconnected from the rest of the demo. in particular, the contrast between the cubemaps from the exegfx compo and the videos was so big that they didn't feel they belong to the same demo.
on the other side, I think the slow zoomers and panning images felt very appropriate for the music, and I loved how the flex text appeared on screen. - rulezadded on the 2023-04-17 09:17:09
- 4k procedural graphics Windows La Chasse aux œuf (The Egg Hunt) by Peisik [web]
- as said, this particular image certainly did no justify the amount of effort that went to it, but the example images in the repo look far more promising to me :) maybe it's the combination of yellow(ish) and brown here that looks a bit ugly to me. nevertheless, as always, I tend to downplay the accomplishments of AI until they are so awesome that I cannot simply downplay them anymore... so, exploring this path could eventually lead to great results
