• demo Java Noise Demonstration by Bad Felix
• Quote:

psenough: the releases were put on scene.org only a couple months ago, of which i learned last week

i'll add the rest soon too (already did 2016 and 2017)

Took almost a year of frequent nagging to get the produtions to scene.org. I'm really happy that the mainorg finally did it, albeit hopefully this year it doesn't require countless requests :)

• invitation Wild LED the sun shine in your heart by vacuum [web]
• Must be some sort of record in how many core compo rules can be broken (8 min showing time, binary executable) to enter a production into a compo. ;)

The build-up taking quite long time and then ending up with a demo that was probably worst of the demos in the particular compo... So as a platform pretty nice but the presentation was plain bad. Would've loved to see the more cool sounding stuff, like the intended use as a bathroom tunnel /w smoke.

• wild Wild Trasidio by Tristar & Red Sector Inc. [web]
• tbh I thought the sound was some weird Monty Pythonesque joke due to the video's hype buildup. :D

Hardware and tubes are awesome, so the project itself is really cool regardless of the sound output. The video presentation was far from great however. Audio levels sucked, faces seemed a bit more like name dropping instead of creating sensible content for the actual entry. I would've cut half of the talking away.

The actual project combined with the video results in a weak piggie.

• invitation PICO-8 Skeneklubi Annual Meeting Demoparty 2019 Invitation by Jumalauta [web]
• To my knowledge the first demo party and registered association meeting invitation combined.

Also FI legislation allows annual meeting official agenda to be sent in a PICO-8 scroller.

• demo Windows Surfaced by Adapt [web]
• 4th place was a bit of a surprise. would've guessed 1st or 2nd. still has the a bit chaotic design trademark from Adapt in there :)
