- demo Windows The nonstop Ibiza experience by orange
- Orange in new clothes but every bit as good looking. Brilliant flashes and deep space calmness. Deserved a better placing.

- demo Windows STS-04: Instant Zen by Synesthetics
- Lots of shiny plastic and cubes. While a lot of effort went into this and technically parts of it may be excellent it still ends up a weak thumbs down in my book. Still easily worth watching if you can't get enough of demos.

- demo Windows come clean by Fairlight [web]
- The best asm04 had to offer. Very cool but not perfect - some parts are a bit boring and with a demo this sweet I find myself wishing it wasn't so short. The music stands on it own too IMO. Wish all Fairlight demos were more like this.

- demo BeOS Linux MS-Dos Windows Amiga AGA Amiga PPC/RTG MacOSX PPC Dreamcast Acorn GamePark GP32 GamePark GP2X Playstation Portable FreeBSD Solaris Nintendo Wii SGI/IRIX Jenny Thinks by Fit [web] & Bandwagon [web]
- A fine demo on any platform. Like the visual style and the way it's built on public domain material. Stylish, interesting.

- demo Windows Dream Equation 2 - scientific paper by Floppy
- I like DE1 better but neither really work as a demo.

- demo MS-Dos Gateways by Trauma
- A great soundtrack and some original visuals but that's about it. I used to like it a lot more but I think I've become more picky a few hundred demos later.

- demo Linux MS-Dos Windows Sunflower by Pulse [web]
- Still a delight. The visuals manage not to look dated because the detail possible at the time has been used in the right way.

- demo MS-Dos Boost by Doomsday
- I don't know how much of my rating is pure nostalgia since Boost was really the demo that got me interested in the demoscene but I still like it.

- demo Windows Dream Equation by Floppy
- the science geek in me likes it but it isn't much of a demo.

- demo Windows Dreamchild by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- Few demos bring tears to my eyes.
