- demo Windows Negative by Sense Amok
- I must state my disagreement with the rest, this was definitely the best demo from react, some of the effects were very impressive, and there are also syncing and transitions although it was finished at the party place in a very limited time frame. Thumbs up and my congradulations to outsider for pulling that feat.

- demo Linux Eternal by The Lab [web]
- This is our contribution to react04, a very hastily made prod (one week or so of making), 50% of it done at the partyplace. Final version and win32 port will come in a few weeks.

- demo XBOX A Scener's Brain by Reversed Engineers
- Unfortunately a long time has passed since ReAct and I can't say that I remember the actual demo (nor do I have an X-Box to see it again), however thumbs up for the effort, and for bringing a different contribution to ReAct.
Good job samurai. - rulezadded on the 2004-02-01 21:56:29
- demo Windows Dreamchild by Andromeda Software Development [web]
- regarding fmod: I have heard complains about both prods I released with fmod about clicking sound, although my 2 computers always runed them (and dreamchild of course) without any problems at all.
However even if we assume that the clicking problem lies with fmod (which I doubt) just the fact that it's so damn easy to use and well designed is enough reason for me to continue using it. In fact it must be the only library that I use without even considering wrapping it with my own interface and that says a lot.
People should look to fmod as an example before designing library interfaces and APIs - isokadded on the 2003-08-28 01:07:29
- demo Windows Feed Your Machine by Faktory
- Although the whole design sucks, the smoke effect is SO impressive that compensates. I saw a lot of nice demos in asm03 but this one had me jumping of the chair and yelling.... If this smoke is not from Fedkiw's SIGGRAPH 2001 paper, I'm a gardener... my warm congratulations to the coder for bringing state of the art Computer Graphics research into realtime demos...

- demo Windows Absence by The Lab [web]
- zone: spare me the irony please, of course I know how to use a fucking library for data compression, I wasn't waiting for you to enlighten me on the subject.
The compo machine was a P3 with a Geforce 3 and it worked fine, my machine is a P3 with a Geforce2 mx-400 and it works fine, it even worked fine on an integrated intel graphics chip on a laptop, a TNT2, a matrox and some other cards that I tried it on. the problem is your OS (or should I say the absence of a real OS on your system) I heard from some people that it doesn't run with non-NT based windows in some cases., and on a PC with WinME that I tried it it could only run windowed (try changing the "fullscreen" to "windowed" in n3dinit.conf file at the demo's main directory). - isokadded on the 2003-07-20 19:03:13
- demo Windows Slither by Quadra
- Very good demo from quadra, with great transitions, and nice effects. I especially liked the bouncing sphere over chessboard part (screenshot) and the cubes-logo thing in the begining. Also the music from thor was really good.

- demo Windows Absence by The Lab [web]
- Thank you all for your comments, some people mentioned something about breaks in the sound, that does not happen in my PC, however I saw the demo in one that did happen and increasing the refresh rate from the n3dinit.conf file that comes within the demo fixes it. At the line where it says "dontcareflags" also add refresh to the list and it will automatically use the highest refresh rate possible by your gfxcard/monitor combo for the video mode used.
