- 256b MS-Dos Futura by Red Sector Inc. [web]
- Not convinced. This a double sized Mayan 128b without colors and yet banging the same one MIDI note again. Crashes on all tested systems, is unplayable on DosBox and doesn't show the cube on Windows XP NTVDM. Nice youtube video though

- 256b Java Cactus FX by Digimind
- Cool, but the platforms are not right. The real things runs on processing (on said OSes), and the windows version takes some dozen kilobytes, amirite? No hate, but the above description is a bit misleading ;) That aside, i'm lucky to take third place before this ^^

- 256b Wild Tides by The Cronies
- tiny intro scene needs more high resolution approaches =) it's a pity that using the multiboot lifts this outta comparable DOS competition ("wild") but fourty and some bytes is just so much better than the ~100 bytes i came up with in autumagic to set up the protected mode and 1024x768 (not really finished or optimized). Plus, nobody seems to really care about resolution, high color and performance ... until now ;) . I highly encourage you to take further steps into this direction. Performance may be a problem but there is SHITLOADS of memory to use, to generate FPU lookups or even whole prerendered frames ;) Hook me up if you're interested in "painfully setting up protected mode" ;)
