- cracktro Amiga OCS/ECS Wrath of the Demon - Scoopex Version by Scoopex [web] & Spaceballs [web] & Planet Jazz
- Very stylish intro with nice music. The handle "Korvkiosken" always lets
me think of Valhallavägen i Stockholm - smaklig måltid ;-)
A Happy New Year to the pouet community. - rulezadded on the 2022-01-01 13:52:47
- 4k Atari STe 4K-MOD by Oxygene [web] & Alcatraz [web]
- Yeah, legends keeping the spirit alive! Thanks a lot dudes; the tiny track is awesome :-)

- demo C16/116/plus4 states united by Bauknecht [web] & The Electronic Knights
- Strange, strange, strangely good. I like that prod a lot. The opening
with the vector ball squares instantly sets me into demo mode. The
(line-)tunnel with that strange guy to the right is nice, too. Not to
mention the voxel endpart. Gorgeous. The only part I do not like so
much (the colors!) is the one starting at 2:26 - it is to 70s-Prilblumen-
like for me ;-) - rulezadded on the 2021-12-14 15:01:29
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Space Age Plasma Scroll by Fairlight [web]
- It is a bit confusing that even today the creators of this prod do not
seem to distance themselves clearly from their previous work and justify it
with "we were teenagers".
What is so difficult in saying "Yes, it was wrong and we made a mistake
back then"?
Thumb up for the swinging-letter scroll. Two thumbs down for the
attitude.
Releases with disgusting and radical content should be banned from
pouet. - sucksadded on the 2021-12-01 11:00:34
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Batman Vuelve by Batman Group
- Very atmospheric and inherently consistent show with great gfx,
music, and nice code. I like it a lot. The flabby rotozoomer-jelly-cube is a
nice to watch and not seen before peculiarity...wobble, wobble,
wobble...
(The opening reminds me somehow of old games for the Amstrad CPC
from Ocean Software?!) - rulezadded on the 2021-11-20 16:58:26
- cracktro Amiga OCS/ECS Lure of the Temptress V2 by Flashtro [web] & Scoopex [web]
- Cool, Mr. Spiv and Musashi9 together contributing to a release for
Flashtro. For that reason alone a thumby...and another one for the nice
blitter c2p. - rulezadded on the 2021-10-29 13:49:33
- 32k Amstrad CPC Logon's run - 3D meets the aging bits by Logon System
- The master of illusions may be praised :-) What a demo! Stunning
effects & illusions presented with a dynamic pace, nice gfx, and a
great(!) tune that fits very well as it was composed for the demo. I had
to grin a couple of times while watching. Lovely! - rulezadded on the 2021-10-26 11:37:51
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS illusions by Aurora
- Yeah, that one I can remember as well. The star wars 16color image
mover is gorgeous. The first time I saw it, a rotating question mark
appeard above my head. I am not 100% sure how they made it. Is
it a brute force approach or is it a clever trickery? Maybe it is a bit of
both. I could well imagine that you already start with a trapezoid-
shaped image and then horizontally shrink it step by step with help of
the blitter, that is, you eliminate a pixel column on the left and right
each frame. - rulezadded on the 2021-10-25 11:58:35
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Freedom by Nova
- different = good
The introducing "speaker" (=cube with bow-tie in the spot-light) is
cute. - rulezadded on the 2021-10-24 16:31:55
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Dreamscape by Aurora
- referring to my last post: 2021-10-23 16:33:34
Obviously my brain restored some aldolescent synpases and suddenly
the name "NOVA" popped up in my mind. And indeed, Freedom by
Nova is the demo I was looking for. But in my old memories it was
much cooler. Anyway, it is worth a watch :-)
