- the emulated 6510 in the dtv can run roughly atleast 3 times faster than a c64, when turning on some options. The zeropage and the stack can be remapped, and many many wicked stuff. the best description is really the "8bit amiga" one :)

- demo Amiga AGA C42 by Juliet+Case
- eventho I have watched this a lot I couldnt really learn to love it. felt much more like a pc demo back then, and even that in very low resolution. Maybe I just did not understand the level of coding, or just that I had no fastmem, and the slowness killed it.

- demo Commodore 64 Desert Dream by Resource [web] & Chorus
- Dane, your bashing here is only done due to your envyness. to quote yourself: "I'm quite sad to see such a positive hype" yes that tells it all. We have dozens of original productions both chorus and resource, however you only feel like commenting our demos when you think they get too much attention. Very brave move man congrats. You could come up with 3 parts out of 16 which were done better so far, quite a weak argument when stating that its not filled with hardcore effects. These days I could do fill 3 mindblowing demos out of 16 effects.Fact is that you only dont like the effects since they are not original, you have written yourself: "would have been very impressive if only you had designed it all by yourself." I can accept that but that doesnt prove your statement that our effects are not hardcore.
now go back to your cave, and come back again commenting when you feel again that a demo gets too much hype for your taste. cheers. - isokadded on the 2007-04-14 14:15:55
