- ah, nothing quite like the feeling of looking at the screenshot and thinking "man, I hate this style of art", but absolutely loving the actual demo :D

- 64k Windows 905509 by Stroboholics
- Great stuff, absolutely gorgeous shading and the post process work really paid off :D Tons of nice effects too.

- demo Windows Calcifer by Still [web]
- Absolutely great flow and direction. Great tune too.
Couple of constructive criticisms: the acid sounds felt out of place somehow, and why must *everything* break apart into triangles? It would have been so much better without endless perfect triangles :)
Regardless, it's another really great demo. Still is my favourite group these days :) - rulezadded on the 2013-08-19 10:09:16
- 64k Windows Celtic Time by z brothers
- Lovely. I liked the theme and the music a lot in this one. The end result is really good too, for 64k :)

- demo Android Routavaurio by Hedelmae [web]
- btw, does it look much better on hardware than on youtube? I was going to say the road could do with a little more motion blur, but figured it probably looks way better at 60fps :)

- demo Android Routavaurio by Hedelmae [web]
- Really great idea, and well implemented, but with a couple of flaws I feel:
- The music is a bit 'muddy'. I think it's partly the mix, which feels a bit bass heavy, but it's also partly that the music doesn't fit the demo too well. It really needs a lot more separation on the instruments, so the sync really stands out.
- It's either too long, or too short on content. The idea is great, but to keep it enjoyable it needs more and more things flowing by in time to the music, and I guess with a road there's only so much you can do. I mean you COULD add some roadkill in time to a new instrument, but.. :D
Still, this is good, and waaay better than generic-spinning-cube-with-white-flashes #8536 :) - rulezadded on the 2013-08-12 15:16:03

- navis: have you tried using a video capture of the demo as the source image sequence? Could be interesting to see what happens :) And if it's done repeatedly, does it reach a point of stability, or does it bounce off into chaos?

- This is great. Yeah, a bit too messy in places, but still.. great effects and design. Easily the winner for me :)

- demo Commodore 64 Wonderland XII by Censor Design [web]
- Just re-watched the credits/greets part with amp + speakers instead of phone speaker. The audio quality is actually great, wouldn't have guessed this was possible on a c64 :D
