• Yeah this looked and sounded nice, animation was a little jerky (maybe some smoothstep would fix it?) but I can easily excuse that. I think some people are being overly harsh.

• A huge achievement. Awesome smooth particles, great animation on the line-art stuff, best in class direction. So slick.

• New version is certainly less abrasive but the problem isn't with the production or the tuning. This is a subjective opinion, but the words ring hollow to me when delivered in this tone. The enunciation is very clear and the timbre of her voice is very pure, as if addressing an audience rather than a personal reflection I can relate to.
  
  Maybe she's singing the words at the mic rather than to it because the words aren't very meaningful. Who I kiss on my first date is not a decision, I kiss my date. It'd certainly not be a small decision for me to kiss someone else.

• Had to watch the youtube due to ATI problems in the win32 version (I thought Macs come with ATI cards wtf), but like Sim Reich it was nicely balanced. Sure it didn't blow me away but it had a strong look, the music fit the visuals well, and it didn't overstay it's welcome. Good stuff.

• The effects are lovely, vocals sounded like they were done at gunpoint. Piano is nice.
