- demo Windows refaktor by Adapt [web]
- The adaptverse is probably my favourite place in the universe to be even if it feels a bit strange sometimes.

- Short stories are my favourite form of science fiction, because in a short story you can concentrate on the gist of the story and imply the circumstances, while way too many science fiction novels succumb to technobabble and the kind of universe-building that's really completely secondary and meaningless to the story itself. This demo reads exactly like a good science fiction short story. It's has a fantastic atmosphere, a well-executed concept (despite some animation hiccups) and it concentrates on building on its strenghts instead of trying to go into multiple directions.
I have also a funny personal thing to share about this demo. I'm not sure in which order the demos were shown, but a bit before this there was the one demo from Pyrotech (?) that had greetings to every single group that had won the Assembly demo competition. While I didn't like that demo all that much, I started thinking about making a demo that would be based on greeting all my favourite groups that hadn't released anything for a while. Of the few names on that list that I could definitely come up with during that demo, Vovoid was definitely one. And then this one came up :) One of the definite highlights of the compo for me. - rulezadded on the 2011-08-07 11:12:04

- Nice colours and as a whole a lot better than most entries in the competition.

- The black screen bug is mysterious. Never experienced it and haven't been able to reproduce it at all, so someone suffering from this, please help me out a bit :) Does the screen stay black if you fast forward it rewind it with arrow keys? Is there *anything* on the screen? Is it only certain scenes or the complete demo after the intro?

- I am not sure whether I should upload this here or not yet, but there are other TMDC demos already and I just want to get it off my hands. It might also break the compo rules by refusing to work on some computers, probably due to the ancient version of a crappy engine used. I don't have the time to work in it anymore though, so here it is.

- Aside it being a first production with some obvious first production mistakes such as no sync and some graphical glitches, and it crashing in the end, I think there's something quite nice and unique here. The tree-like thing with the curves after the credits was especially nice, and the mood in total is quite charming.
I want to see more! - rulezadded on the 2009-09-03 11:14:45
- demo Linux Windows Zenit by Outbreak [web]
- Welll, I added that to the shader files and it runs fine. What a lovely little demo.
