- 64k Atari XL/XE old school the vbxe remix by Lamers
- Not very interesting, but I guess it's a nice way to show what can be done with this extension.
I assume the source code is available so other can learn how to use it? - rulezadded on the 2013-03-02 12:59:51
- demo Commodore 64 Revolved by Triad [web]
- I'm really not fan of the choices of colors, but the whole thing flows beautifully, great music, nice transitions, no long parts, and still some very nice technical stuff in the mix :)

- demo Commodore 64 Too Old to Ror and Rol by Offence [web] & Prosonix & Fairlight [web]
- Some cool stuff, just a bit too disconnected, as other said I wish the western style had stayed through the whole.

- demo Windows Artifacts by Illogictree [web]
- The whole is better than the sum of the parts, probably because of the music. I would not call it awesome, but it was good enough for a thumb :)

Have you tried to statically link the CRT instead of dynamic? - isokadded on the 2013-02-03 14:05:26
- demo ZX Spectrum Gm BiT
- Oh, no character screen on the spectrum? I guess I was confused by the color system then, two colors per 8x8 block? Guess I interpreted that as some form of char map :)
On the Oric... well I was looking for idea for the 30th anniversary demo, so why not :) - isokadded on the 2013-01-20 12:20:42

- 64k Amiga AGA Pourquoi faire simple quand on peut faire compliqué ? by les shadock
- Some good moments, but the timings for texts are not super awesome :)

- demo ZX Spectrum Gm BiT
- Very nice.
moroz: I have a theory. It may be totally wrong but here is what I would do.
The font is is scrolling at character speed (8 pixels horizontally), is made of 5 pixels tall definition that are spread over vertically 144 pixel (give or take).
144 pixels divided by 5 pixels gives 3 characters in average to display any of the 5 pixels of a vertical slice of font.
If you redefine the character set to create a set of combinations of slope transitions from one color to the other you can recreate the big pixels by assembling three characters: The top transition, middle pixel, bottom transition.
Just select the correct slope factor based on the sine curve.
At least that's how I would do :) - rulezadded on the 2013-01-19 11:35:04
