- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Joyride by Phenomena
- Don't mind precalc at all, have a harder time accepting prerender, but it's less deceptive than Spaceballing it. It uses prerender a lot, and that and the delicious gfx makes it look slick.
Tune is a bit boring, but the instruments are super tasty... <3
It does have a realtime part in the middle, which is very slow. But overall I think this has very high production values and some neat-looking ideas. Definitely worth a watch. - rulezadded on the 2018-08-22 00:13:06
- 40k Amiga OCS/ECS Another Revolution by Shining
- Short but quite good - again Zeus was a skilled coder - and gfx from one of my fave Public Enemies demos! Good 40k - a dig at Phenomena and especially me I'm sure ;) But I laughed my ass off when I saw it. There's a place for rivalry and shit-talking in the scene sometimes, else it gets dull :)
But it's not just rivalry, he also has a dig at special-casing and cheating, if you see it. He made a demo about it. There's credit due there, I think. Rulez! - rulezadded on the 2018-08-21 00:15:19
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Vector Exterminator by Shining
- Hehe. I consider myself a friend of Zeus, not sure if he felt the same way! ;D Always thought he was a skilled coder, and the Blitter stretching is the result of more work than a non-coder might think - plus the "checker ditch" part is really nice IMO. Well worth watching.

- intro Amiga OCS/ECS Vector Equalizer aka 3rd Intro by Phalanx
- And this one also not thumbed up, as if. Anyway.
Look to this demo if you want to make proper 3D stars. Shake your mouse. :) TLC on the scroller and some scripting makes it entertaining, especially with the energetic music. :) - rulezadded on the 2018-08-19 21:41:25
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS 3d intro by Phalanx
- And I haven't Rulezed this either. As if. This would be one of the first demos I would have thumbed up after joining Pouet. I think Pouet have lost votes in some backup issue, maybe 2007-ish.
Anyway, if you're a coder || have taste, you will notice the viewport problem of most other starfields solved, lack of coordinate jitter, and correct perspective. High quality routine by Tai-Pan, and as usual some TLC for the scroller. :)
Not Walkman's best tune, but with the Vectrex-like visuals (on a CRT, that is), it's quite hypnotic and well worth a watch. Rulez! - rulezadded on the 2018-08-19 21:37:21
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Vector Preview by Complex [web]
- Best planecut method ever. ;)
Tai-Pan was an early coder hero to me, and this is a great engine, definitely better than Tec and #1 at the time, using Blitter interrupts.
Insert usual "how have I not Rulezed this before?" complaint. :) Actually considering the low number of votes this is now at the top of my CDC queue. - rulezadded on the 2018-08-19 21:10:26
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Mobile Destination Unknown by Spaceballs [web]
- One group, one coder, one animation :) Forever it will be so, it seems.
Music is pretty good, I hope he asked permission at least. - sucksadded on the 2018-08-15 00:17:57
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Megademo by kgb
- p.s. for those who can't run it on Amiga here is a better video

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Megademo by kgb
- I remember seeing some test pic with noise, might be this, might not. If it was this I would probably have been annoyed at the disjointed and repetitive/derivative disk 1 preventing me from seeing disk 2 for two minutes. Which may be the old not released megademo they planned before adding disk 1 in front. End part of the 3-part megademo exits directly on click to a guru though. :D
So it's lame. But I liked the drummer, the loader scroller, and the green sine scroller. :) - isokadded on the 2018-08-14 23:33:03
- demo Amiga AGA Friday at Eight by Polka Brothers [web]
- Kefrens/Melon attempt with yesteryear's effects... in 1994... on AGA...?
Probably worked on the bigscreen (c), but the screens are just too seen before 100 times for me to get any enjoyment out of it. The music gets better near the end. GFX... well. The font is OK. And Melony. So it's not a total thumbs down. But. It's just going out of its way to not be interesting. - sucksadded on the 2018-08-13 00:33:47
