- Erm, although I have seen (and made!) worse first-release-demos, I don't like phrases like 'we don't need hw acceleration' (they obviously mean: 'we can't code that yet, sorry'). And about the oldschool-label: If it's very well done, it's a great nostalgic trip, otherwise it sounds like an excuse for not being able to do better and for not trying new ideas.

- 256b MS-Dos zen_nofpu by Zen
- Mhmm, actually a 256b intro pack. Most of the intros suffer from bad colours (read: default vga palette) and the screenshot looks somewhat more interesting than the real thing. :)

- I should have read the intro scroller more carefully :)

- Not even close to the seastar and cookie things, but still nice. Mostly because of the neat tune.

- demo Commodore 64 Triad 4 Years by Triad [web]
- Original title is 'for years'. As always in Triad demos, the most interesting part is the (scroll)text, in which they discuss many political issues and their general view on todays society: You can read it also online: http://www.df.lth.se/~triad/triad/3words/Janitor_Talks.html

- At least the galaxy scene rocks.

- demo Commodore 64 Utopia by Triad [web]
- Mhmm, this was ahead of it's time I guess. A digitized rock song in the first part, and some hardcore effects (like the one in the screenshot), plus the triad attitude scrollers make this one worth watching, even today.
