- High distortion guitar is the hardest to replicate but listen to this module with guitar with outstanding integration as an example:

- I've listen to the demo again to better analyze the music since you asked for more details. I'm no music expert, but this is my personal opinion:
1- The guitars sound "cheap". Like old modules from 1989.
2- Guitar track in a module is very hard to do. After all those years, I think I was possessively impressed only once by a 4 track rock module with guitars.
3- My guess is you would need a LOT more guitar sample to cover all the spectrum more smoothly. Like 1 sound per note for each octave. That's a lot. Like the song "don't tell me" from Madonna where all the guitar are obviously sampled. Having 1 guitar sound and stretching it all over the keyboard over 2-3 octaves might not produce the greatest result.
4-If you would replace those guitars by some TB-303 baseline synth with at least some sustain and/or flange, you would immediately hear the improvement. At least you could test if the song composition/construction itself is at fault or if it's just about bad sounding instruments.
My 2 cents - isokadded on the 2014-09-24 23:48:48
- musicdisk Amiga OCS/ECS 8-Bit Jungle by Unstable Label [web]
- Under WinUAE 28.1.0, work with ECS chipset and 1MB chip all right, but only with a 68020 CPU or higher and Kickstart 2.04 and higher...
Tried with A500, A500+ and A600 configuration with 1MB chip, none of them work (instant crash at the bootblock). Strangely, the A3000 with Kickstart 2.04 works fine. A1200 worked too. Even the A4000T/68060 worked. It seems none of the Amiga with a 68000 works, no matter the chipset, RAM or Kickstart combination.
I never came across an ECS demo requiring a 68020 to run! - isokadded on the 2014-09-24 06:50:04

- Crinkler 1.3 was used to compress this prod = instant crash on Nvidia... Re-compressed with 1.4, no problem.
Average song and on the short side. Very good for a 1 man prod done at the last minute. +1 for multiple resolutions included. Piggy overall. - isokadded on the 2014-09-22 21:01:42

- 64k Amiga OCS/ECS 32 Shades of LAX by Laxative Effects
- The txt ask for an expended Amiga 1200 and even recommend a 68060!!! Works well in Winuae with OS3.9 AGA/RTG and 68040. Again with Winuae, runs with bugs after intro in OS 1.3/ECS and 68000 cycle exact. This is practically a demo that requires an AGA platform, and only use the ECS part of it...
Very low production value. Everything is below average. Could probably have been done in less than 32K. I guess this is all due to the fact AMOS was used. I'm not sure if I should give points for masochism.
Using Amos for demo creation is like having a surgical procedure, without anesthesia. It's atrociously painful, but you'll survive. It's not because you can do something that you should. This demo is one of those things. - sucksadded on the 2014-09-16 03:26:22
- cracktro Amiga OCS/ECS Cracktro by Ozone
- Yeah... OCS/ECS stuff requiring a 020 and KS2.0!? What's next? An "oldschool cracktro" running only on a 060 and 128MB RAM? And WTF about the crm libs dependency? Seriously???

- 64k Windows Cheshire by z brothers
- -A lot of details and complexity for a 64K
-Great variation
-Love this "native full screen" option. All demo should have that. Will be able to view this in 4K 10 years down the road.
-Good song, but for me, somehow lack emotional connection
-Direction and cohesion could be better
Very nice demo overall! - rulezadded on the 2014-09-01 19:40:53

- I didn't dislike the minimal-electro-industrial track. I bit simplistic tune, maybe over the top robotic lacking soul, but not bad. Good direction and flow overall. The dynamic visual was the best part of this demo.
