- demo ZX Spectrum Daytrip by ate bit [web] & Desire [web]
- I do not think I was the target audience because it is all about childhood references and those of mine belong to a very different era in a very different place, so I found it hard to connect.
What I liked about this was mainly the tune with its intentionally beeperish sound and some graphics. Weak thumb up from me then. - rulezadded on the 2015-08-14 13:38:32
- demo BBC Micro Some Nasty Effects by CRTC
- The effects are nearly not nasty enough; I want my money back and I will also complain to advertising standards authority.
More seriously, it was great to learn a little bit about these machines and what they can do, and also, I quite like the tune. - rulezadded on the 2015-08-14 13:30:58
- demo ZX Spectrum Reconstruction Chaos Final Version by Newart

- demo ZX Spectrum Reconstruction Chaos Final Version by Newart
- There is a nice bit of history behind this demo. It was shown at CC'10 as a video recording, took the first place and failed to materialize in a binary form for many years. Some even said it was a vapourwave.
I am very glad to see it released at last. The introduction is utterly fantastic for Spectrum; the rest of the demo is a bit messy, but energetic and fun. The soundtrack is the right kind of cheesy. This is a very good demo indeed. - isokadded on the 2015-08-14 13:26:08

- demo C16/116/plus4 rocket science by Bauknecht [web] & The Electronic Knights
- This is great not because it has great graphics or cool music or fantastic flow (not that anyone can seriously complain about any of these). This is great not because of the sheer amount of work on display here. For me, this is great because of the amount of invention regarding effects and transitions and just various ways of moving things across the screen. For me, as an oldschool coder, this was the most inspiring demo last year. I watched it several times and, every time, found new things I did not notice before. Thank you for this.
P.S. Sorry, I stole your Youtube joke. I could not actually remember where it came from, but now I do. - rulezadded on the 2015-08-11 12:47:28
- dentro Commodore 64 Bus Noise by Slipstream [web]
- Guys, the graphics is cool here, but the music really steals the show for me.
This soundtrack. Is. Out. Of. This. World. Wow! - rulezadded on the 2015-08-09 02:20:31
- demo Atari ST pulse by Checkpoint [web] & Live!
- Just watched it on the big screen at Sundown. Very solid production, with great flow, some cool jokes and fantastic way to loop at the end.

- demo Commodore 64 Pimp My Bento by NOOP
- I do not remember laughing this hard at a demo. Great way to turn your weaknesses into your strength. Noby is 100% right. Fucking adorable!

- demo ZX Spectrum Eager (to live) by Life on Mars
- No, I did not mean you personally :)
However, you did say "no matter how much code is involved", so you are clearly on the defensive.
I actually did not write "code isn't needed" on one of the Russian forums, as one of the commenters claimed. I wrote "Code is dead", which is a paraphrase of you-know-what and by that I meant that even the best coders on the platform have no clue anymore. No need to be apologetic then. - isokadded on the 2015-08-07 04:05:16
