• 4k Windows Love among the stars by silvia
• This was refreshingly different and well done. My compo favorite.

• demo TIC-80 AssemblyTV Megademo by The Practitioners of Lua Megademos
• Self-referential circlejerking isn't usually my cup of tea, but this is just so charming and well-done that I can only give it a thumbs up :)

• 4k JavaScript Terror from the Deep by wamma [web]
• Looks like the bad parts of 90s and 2000s. I applaud the different tech on principle but maybe it should be used for stuff that's interesting.

• demo Windows The Legend of Sisyphus by Andromeda Software Development [web]
• Massive production values. Massive tech. Massive soundtrack. Massive length. Massive concept. Massive comeback. Massive demo. Massive.

  But.

For some reason, I wasn't taken away like I was with most other ASD productions. It's impossible to not admire it, and it definitely deserves that, but I felt buried under all the massive. I missed the whimsical bits and the occasional low-key bits of previous ASD blockbusters, because ASD if anyone is the master of putting in a human touch in demos. This demo has people in it, and everything on a scale that hasn't been seen before. But it doesn't have that, at least not in the way that speaks to me.

But it's still, of course, massive. Probably the best demo of recent times and a benchmark for a decade to come.

• demo JavaScript 10 Circles by blinry [web] & winniehell [web]
• I applaud the concept and the execution but for some reason, to me this feels very grating and frustrating to watch in a way I can't describe. But, I'll thumb it up anyway because it's so well made.
