- musicdisk Windows microbial illusion - musicdisk #1 by CoolPHat [web]
- 1.) The interface looks pretty much like the default winamp skin
2.) Some sort of effect, synced to the music would be much more interesting than a static screen
3.) Some additional information about the authors/tunes would be nice too
4.) And now a message to all music disks producers: STOP PACKING YOUR TUNES IN A DAT-FILE! (in this case they used a crytped rar-archive and renamed it to *.dat. May I ask why you want to force me to recover the passwords for every tune, just for playing them in another player?!?).
So dear chipdisk people, do me a favour and include an unpack-option... :) - isokadded on the 2001-10-13 11:54:45
- game Commodore 64 M.O.O.D. by NoName [web]
- @phoenix: Even the coders call it a "doom clone" :) And since Doom is an universal metaphor for old-school 3d-shooters...
About the versions: There are IIRC 2 preview versions, plus a cracked version of the second preview. The 2nd preview is from August 1998. - isokadded on the 2001-10-08 17:29:05
- game Commodore 64 M.O.O.D. by NoName [web]
- Oh, yes... It's the (in)famous C64-doom clone. The game was never really finished, so it's just a preview.

- musicdisk Commodore 64 blasphemy #3 by Hitmen [web]
- The best music disc I've seen so far on C64. A lot of good cover tunes. Simply a good collection.

- demo Commodore 64 Cucumber Juice 2 by Hitmen [web]
- Yeah!
One of the longest (the longest?) trackmo in c64 scene history. If I remember correctly, it's lasting for almost half an hour.
And there are even some hidden parts to discover (any hints? :)). - rulezadded on the 2001-10-07 11:11:26
- demo Commodore 64 Breeze of Diogenes by X-Ample Architectures [web]
- Back in the days, there have been a lot of groups on the c64, who used to produce high quality games. The most famous ones were Cosmos Design, Digital Excess and X-Ample (Does anybody remember 'Parsec' ... great game :)).
All of those groups were also active in the demoscene.
Both, Cosmos Design and Digital Excess made (afaik)only one real demo. X-Ample did some more. But none of them were as good as their games.
So, having the game developer background in mind, it's not surprising that most of their demos look more like game intros or contact notes. - isokadded on the 2001-10-07 10:55:35
- demo MS-Dos Shingles by Doomsday
- Yes, it has nothing to do with their old style, but heck...
it might be lousy from a technical point of view, but I like it for its ambience, for its 'fuck-we-have-done-enough-great-demos-now-we-just-relax' message and for the great music. - rulezadded on the 2001-10-03 21:04:26
- demo MS-Dos Off by Doomsday
- Mhmm, today I saw the demo for the first time (well, the windows port actually, but I assume that both versions are the same content-wise... dunno why I have missed this demo so far), and I have to say, what it's one of the best doomsday productions ever (next to boost and elektroniks).
Some typical dsd-trademarks, some kinda new school elements, a well fitting soundtrack... good one. - rulezadded on the 2001-10-02 14:12:46
- 4k MS-Dos Atomic by wild bits [web]
- Actually, there are some nice ideas, like the main atoms-theme, but on the downside, the music is as bad as in Wilby #6, e.g. really awful.
