- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Cube-O-Matic by Spreadpoint [web]
- Slow, but what to say? A polished first in non-iso texture mapping in demos! Sometimes, slow means good and genuine. It can also be a step forward for a platform, in that it can start a competition for bigger+better+faster effects. Obvious thumb from me :)

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Blitter disaster by Storm
- Remember seeing this and watching it several times, then sort of needlessly dismissing it from shaky precision and so few pics rotate in Z. Rewatched it now on the old beast, and this already means a thumb. I appreciate the early tech and experimentation.
It must be a first for iso projection. Virtual Intelligence added filled vectors behind, but was released much later. Cube-o-Matic, another great Amiga demo, also came later and does perspective, but is very slow. I'll go check that I've voted on those too now. :) - rulezadded on the 2018-06-30 01:48:11
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Metal Melissa The Pisser by animators [web]
- Adihash :D A wild mix of everything - never saw this. The code is generally not top notch, especially for July 1991, and I would probably have shouted at the screen after 15 seconds of the Walrus scene if I couldn't skip it.
Rewatch? Probably not, but I liked the opening and some of the work here. - isokadded on the 2018-06-30 00:54:08
- demo Amiga OCS/ECS MegaDemo 2 by Crionics
- Solid prod - fake-inconvex likely inspired Vertigo and Anarchy, I think this was boiling in the Nordic countries in 1990 as I had a routine too. Cave was first? May be wrong, memory is vague.
Definitely a keeper for me floppy-wise, so thumb! First part is favorite for all the work and projected shadows, very likely a first. Always liked the Pigs in Space music by SLL as it reminded of early Yello. - rulezadded on the 2018-06-26 23:12:10

- 4k Commodore 64 Plasma by DnP
- Extremely standard :P but smooth endpart style tune by Drax + smooth and colorful plasma in 4K. Thumb for making me smooth.

- demo Amiga OCS/ECS Copper History by Amnesia
- It's a good plasma, and I appreciated playing with the editor. The thought of a Copper History so early :) and yes it does turn out they've skipped some quite nice effects their swapper didn't provide I guess. Doesn't meet the rewatch criterion for rulez, but slightly north of bacon, so ceiling().

- demo Amiga AGA Future Balls by Resistance [web]
- Capable prod for a good platform choice, and I liked some explorations here :)

- cracktro Amiga OCS/ECS Shinobi by Paranoimia
- Obvious thumb for the custom music by TSM made for or borrowed by whoever coded it for Paranoimia :)

- intro Amiga AGA Lost Stars by Therapy & Cyber Dreams Inc.
- Apparently one-effect demos with monotone tracks are "fresh" again ;)
Minimal. That just means it's too simple, doesn't it? Other 64Ks or even 40Ks have some ideas or some moment to enjoy. - sucksadded on the 2018-05-07 01:08:23
