  Starchaser: I think the piano in Whitespace is custom-synthesized, but in this 1k it's from the sample based Microsoft/Roland General MIDI engine that's been bundled with Windows since around stone age. With the Microsoft General MIDI thing, all it takes is midiOutOpen() and midiOutShortMsg() to produce sound. The downside is, it will sound like 1995 General MIDI.

• With proper credits for each shader and a bit of transitions and color grading to make everything go together this could have been a really nice "Assorted Eyecandy from Shadertoy" demo.

• Yeah the audio is SUPERB. Refreshing to hear something that isn't obviously General MIDI or byte-buzz-beeping.
  
  I wonder if this could be ported to Raspi. How's Raspbian and ARM for tiny intros? How does ARM code compress and can you use the same header/stub/etc tricks? I haven't tried.

• Nice ambient music and visuals. Maybe too nice, because I fell asleep during the demo compo. Can't remember if this demo was the final knock-out.
  But doesn't "stereo" usually imply there's _different_ stuff left and right, not the same stuff.

• Anyone wonder why 64k went away from Asm in the first place? Remember the compo with only 1 entry? The 64k category remains broken, until people start making and watching intros just for fun again. There are three types of demos: the good, the fun and the serious. It used to be all about the good and the fun, but then the serious raised its ugly head.

• There is enough tech already, achievement unlocked. Start making content or move to size-limited categories, where tech still has some value.

• Nice effect. But why have that kind of music. It doesn't seem to have any connection with the visuals or their style. Very simple changes could have made this much better, without taking up any more space or development time. Someone clearly spent at least 15 minutes making or selecting the sounds, so why not spend those minutes for something sensible. Lack of taste? Lack of interest?
