- invitation JavaScript Guilty as charged - Stream 2012 Invitation by Byterapers [web]
- The text was a bit hard to read in places. Elsewise I enjoyed it.

- demo invitation Gameboy Demon Blood by Youth Uprising
- You could have stayed on the Demon Blood logo for a bit, and the text scrolls too fast. Other than that - good job :)

- 4k procedural graphics Atari VCS Self Portrait by Tjoppen
- Quote:
Why was it disq?
The motivation was that it's a converted picture, not actually drawn. WIth some time I suspect I could have drawn an 18x75 picture by hand in GIMP.
This is the result of a bit of graphics mode discussion on AtariAge - isokadded on the 2012-04-14 13:16:56

Are you entering this into the Atari Pong Dev compo?
.. and give Atari exclusive rights to it? Nah. Also I don't really think it's much to enter, especially being a two-hour party prod.
Atari are also busy threatening to sue various homebrew sites, so I'll have nothing to do with them. This is why I gave them fuckings in Stella Lives. - isokadded on the 2012-04-14 10:32:56
- demo mIRC Rave by Digital Sounds System
- Not-so-serious thumb because I found it amusing :)

- 4k Atari VCS Stella Lives! by Tjoppen
- Thanks for all the kind words :)
I'd have let some effects ride for a bit longer if it weren't for that risking the music getting too repetitive.
Fun fact: the plasma uses generated code, but the limited RAM means it can only store enough for the visible part of one scanline. The code generation also keeps track of the carry flag so downward sloping parts don't lead to horizontal stretching.
Quote:The end part with the fast switches was impressive to me. I didn't thougt this was possible with the limited ammount of memory.
It doesn't take any extra RAM at all - just more ROM (entries in Measures/Logics/Kernels, see main.asm). I simply switch scene based on the current measure.
Oh, and I found a stupid case of premature optimization in roto28.asm:
Code:lda angle ;clc adc #16 sta angle jmp DoneRotoSetup
The lack of CLC is the reason why the end part seems to go ever so slightly out of sync. - isokadded on the 2012-04-13 11:11:04
- demo Windows Variform 2 by Kewlers [web]
- A fine instance of trolling. I can't decide whether to thumb up or down..
You know what, let's call it a piggy. - isokadded on the 2012-04-12 09:38:54
- 64k Windows F - Felix's Workshop by Ctrl-Alt-Test [web]
- Well done and entertaining, but could have used a bit more (wood) polish. Definitely deserves a thumb.
